Steward Health Care has been using KCD General Contractors for over 3 years now, for multiple projects from Statement of Conditions work doing fire stopping, fire proofing and rated door maintenance, repair, and installation to general contracting and project management. In addition, we have used KCD for Joint Commission Survey preparations doing general maintenance and repairs. KCD is very familiar with all Hospital Policies and Procedures, such as ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessments) and ILSM (Interim Life Safety Measures). As a licensed commercial contractor who specializes in health care, KCD is very familiar and conscientious of all applicable code requirements in health care, such as Massachusetts building code, AIA Standards, The Joint Commission standards, NFPA code, Life Safety code, OSHA, and Massachusetts Department of Public Health / Public Safety requirements, etc. KCD is excellent at coordinating all facets of a project, providing excellent communications and organization for projects to be on time and on budget.

• Nursing Station renovations
• Cardiology Medical Office renovation
• Six (6) new Generator Initiative, ranging in size from 60 kwH to 850 kwH
• General building maintenance and repair work at several hospitals.
